Cape Town – South African media personality Somizi Mhlongo has denied the “sexual favour” allegations made against him by a TikToker, businessman and promoter, who goes by the name of Ali Boy.
Ali posted an event poster with Somizi on it, without consulting him.
Upon seeing the poster, Somizi took to his Instagram page to let his followers know that he and his team knew nothing about the event.
“My team knows nothing about this booking,” Somizi wrote.

Soon after that, Ali posted a TikTok video on his Instagram, claiming that Somizi was preying on him.
He claimed that Somizi wanted “sexual favours” from him as payment for being part of the event that Ali was putting together.

“The most reason why I think Somizi got hanged is because he’s been wanting me for so long, he wants me to f**k him, he wants me to have sex with him you know?!. I’ve got a lot of voice notes that you guys are going to listen but I’m going to sample at least one or two, then you guys are gonna listen. I’m gonna post a voice note after this, you’re just gonna listen. So uhh, there’s a lot of conversations between us that he wants to f**k me he wants us to have sex and what so on and shit like that,” said Ali.

Responding to Ali’s damning claims, Somizi posted a video on his Instagram denying that he ever wanted sexual favours from Ali in return for the event.
However, he admitted to having flirted with Ali.
“I hate it, why, why do people always want to take advantage of other people by blackmailing them or manipulating them and stuff like that them. so Here’s the story, there’s a guy, Ali he calls himself Ali Boy. I have known Ali for more than 2 years and me and him we’ve been chatting and it ended up to us flirting, and talking you know?!. Everything flirtatious. I want him, he wants me and stuff like that.”
“But then Ali has a company that he runs, and then he posted a flyer with my picture and my name saying I’m going to be a judge,” said Somizi.

He continued, “I confronted him, I said ‘Ali you need to remove the picture or pay me’. I said ‘you need to pay me by Monday or I’m going to post something that says I’m not a part of it’. He said ‘ohh, now are you threatening me?’ I said ‘no I’m not threatening you, I’m telling you’. Then he did not respond on Monday. Tuesday I posted ‘I’m not a part of this’.
“I just want to make it clear that one I’m not scared of you trying to, I’m an adult I can flirt, and if someone flirts back or we can chat it’s an adult conversation, I’m not preying on someone who doesn’t want to, he was a part of it but now he’s blackmailing me saying that the reason why, that’s not the reason, the reason is that you’re are a scam, you defraud people and you wanted me to be a part of it.”
