Cape Town – The sole survivor of an accident that killed amapiano artists Sakhile “Killer Kau” Hlatshwayo and Mongezi “Mpura” Stuurman, has finally opened up about the fateful day.
The tragic accident also claimed the lives of artists Khanya “The Voice” Hadebe, DJ Thando Tot and TD.
According to Times Live, Peloyame Segatle was the sole survivor of the accident that occurred on August 7, 2021 while on their way to a gig.
In an exclusive interview on Unpacked with Relebogile Mabotja, Segatle revealed that at the time of the incident she was asleep. The last thing she remembered was everyone smiling and laughing. The next thing she woke up in the hospital with head injuries, a fractured rib, spine and hemaetoma which resulted in her being in a coma for a week.

She said that as the sole survivor of the incident, the world wanted answers from her.
She had to take time off social media and undergo therapy.
“What hurt me the most was that everybody I was with that night is gone so nobody can explain what happened and even the person we collided with is gone too, may their souls rest in peace. It really hurt that there isn’t a single soul on this planet that can tell me what happened that night, Segatle said in the interview.
