Cape Town – Andile Mpisane has received backlash from social media users after offering R1 000 to ten lucky people for his new dance challenge.
According to The South African, Andile released Makhwapheni, his first single under the record label DefJam Africa, on Friday.
He took to Instagram and shared the Makhwapheni Dance Challenge to promote the song. The challenge had a price tag, as 10 people who participated in the dance challenge were set to win R1000 each.

“Makhwapheni out is out on all music platforms. Giving away R1000 to 10 people for the #makhwaphenichallenge tag me,” wrote Andile in an Instagram post.
