Cape Town – South African award-winning Zulu rapper, Siyabonga Nene, popularly known as Big Zulu had a “flirtatious” encounter with another Mzansi media personality, Pearl Thusi, recently.

Big Zulu took to Instagram to share a video of his encounter with Pearl.

In the video, Big Zulu is seen embracing Pearl, who jumps into his arms. They are further seen joking around and holding hands.

Before the background music drowns out the rest of their conversation, Pearl is heard jokingly saying that the rapper “doesn’t want her anymore”.

“uPearl Thusi uthi angisamthandi, ngilungisa kanjani Nkabi nation??. Uyakhala uNdlunkulu,” Big Zulu captioned the video.

Pearl’s video with Big Zulu comes after media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba, set social media on fire after she posted an intimate video clip of herself and Big Zulu on her Instagram stories last week.

In the video, just like with Pearl, Big Zulu is seen embracing Bonang, having a conversation whilst holding hands.

However, social media users reacted differently to the two videos. Bonang’s video with Big Zulu was well-received, whereas Pearl’s video with Big Zulu drew criticism, with some accusing her of being an attention seeker.

But Pearl said that the videos were shot on the same day. She also wondered if she would be crucified if her video was first posted.

“I wonder what would have happened if mine was posted first because it was the same day so honestly,” Pearl wrote in a tweet.
