Cape Town – South African singer Bulelwa Mkutukana, better known as Zahara, and her partner Mpho Xaba are now engaged after Xaba proposed to her in her home in Johannesburg on Friday.
The two were surrounded by family and friends.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Zahara said: “I’m happy. I’m excited. I love him. It was easy for me to say yes to him, because the first time I told him I love him, it was the truth.”
Zahara was surprsied by her now-fiance and her PA, who told her she had to come to a podcast-interview but when she arrived back home, the house was full of flower petals and balloons on which was written “Marry me”.
