Cape Town – South African musician DJ Maphorisa and former ‘The Wife’ star, Thuli Phongolo, appear to have finally found peace after a rollercoaster ride in 2023.
In a recent clip shared on X by MDN News, the duo can be seen enjoying music and laughing together.

Upon the clip’s initial release, however, Mzansi was quick to point out the tired appearance of Phongolo. Many shared concerns for her worn-out look, and were surprised by their reunion.

Arrests and charges pressed
The popular amapiano DJ was arrested in May 2023, for assault charges pressed against him by Phongolo, as reported by The South African.
Maphorisa was released on bail of R4000, as Phongolo filed for a withdrawal statement and agreed for him to be released, they further reported.
According to the report, the alleged couple’s representative said both parties were seeking to “return to their respective fields of work after the now concluded private resolution of this matter”.
