Cape Town – South African socialite Sbahle Mpisane has finally opened up about her car accident that took place three years ago.
According to Drum, Sbahle spent three months in intensive care after she was severely injured when her blue BMW 4 series collided with a tree in 2018.
She had amnesia after a head injury and couldn’t walk as both her legs were broken.
The socialite never spoke about the incident until recently, when she decided to launch her own YouTube channel, Sbahle’s visual book, in which she intends to give her viewers an inside look at every aspect of her personal life.
In the first episode, Sbahle met with YouTuber Owamie Netshivhazwaulu and discussed the incident.
She revealed that the accident occurred on her way home from a night out with a friend. Sbahle also said that she was in the accident with a friend and that the friend was to blame for the accident.
“There was a car I was protecting myself from, and the person was coming out in full speed towards my car. As I was driving, I happened to drive fast but, I was being stupid because while driving fast focusing on the road, I decided to shout in the car. I happened to knock the side of the road which made me knock my head and I passed out with the full accelerator. I hit the robot and went straight to the tree,” said Sbahle.
“I won’t say there was no alcohol involved, because I was out. But I don’t drink to get drunk, obviously. I was fine but it was a whole situation that no one knows that got me into the car accident and only I know what happened. The only people who can speak are me and someone else,” she added.
