Cape Town — South African actress, Pearl Thusi, had some of her friends and followers concerned about her as a video of her trended on X.
Pearl uploaded a video to her social media, which was later shared on X. In the video, she looks as if she’s riding in a car and sending out a cry for help, as
“To all my friends who know where I live, I’m ordering hugs and support, emotional support, there’s a lot of emotional damage. This is an invitation for you to come and make sure I’m fine. I don’t do this often so please just come and check on me. In face, I’m fine, I just need hugs,” she said.

Pearl is never far away from the headlines, and many people are quick to criticise her for her antics, often pointing out that her behaviour is poor for a mother.
She was criticised for posting videos of herself dancing to Tyla’s Water challenge. She was also bashed for her outfit choice at Rich Mnisi’s party, wearing a sheer outfit. Pearl has ever shied away from responding to the critics, saying she is free to do as she pleases.
The comments section was filled with mixed messages, some empathising with Pearl and her struggles, while others said it is a testament to some of her behaviour.
