Cape Town – South African media personality and actress Pearl Thusi has cleared the air about a comment she made on amapiano musician Pabi Cooper’s Instagram post.
It all started when Pabi posted a clip of her and dancer Buhle Gugwana dancing on Instagram.
“BOOK US ABEG. 0815018292,” Pabi Cooper captioned the clip.

Pearl then reportedly commented on the post with laughing emojis. Many were left confused by her comment, according to IOL.
Following the confusion, Pearl took to Instagram Live to explain that she meant no harm with her post but rather was just kidding.
She further said that she had sent Pabi a text to apologise.

“I am going live because I haven’t been on Instagram the entire day and everyone thinks I am dogging Pabi Cooper and I am so sad about that. why everything I do must be taken so fucked up?. How come you guys always think I’m being an asshole?. Anyway, I came here to be like, I’ve texted Pabi to be like ‘ohh my god this confusion is so sad’.
“I really thought she is booked in Nigeria. She is killing it right now and when she worded it in a Nigerian accent, in ‘book me abeg’. I thought she was making a joke about being booked, I thought she was kidding, I thought she was flexing on us,” said Pearl.
