Cape Town – South African actress, model, and presenter, Pearl Thusi has found herself in a bit of hot water after she was captured on video having a lit time, singing along to a song with vulgar lyrics at the 021 Lifestyle nightclub in Pretoria.
The 34-ear-old found herself to be a topic for conversation on TikTok, with some condemning her for singing along to the lyrics while others appreciated that she was having a good time.
The video, which has reached over 1 million views was uploaded to the TikTok account belonging to the club that Thusi was at – @012lifestyleemalahleni.

Like everyone else in the video, Pearl looked like she was thoroughly enjoying herself. However, some users who came across the video struggled to enjoy listening to the ‘vulgar’ lyrics of the song.
“Bathong, I’ll never be comfortable to sing this,” wrote one commenter.
“Pearl Thusi she feels if??,” said another comment, contrasting the views of others.
“Tixo our kids are in trouble.. They all gonna swear mos?,” wrote @siyandamabuya120.
“Guys this is an old song why y’all triggered,” questioned another commenter.

“Imagine their kids listening to this ??,” wrote another.
The ancient debate of vulgar language has been around for a long time, and it will continue to spark differences between people with different values, beliefs and outlooks on life.
