Cape Town – South African rapper Emtee took to social media to let his followers know that he is equipped with a bulletproof vest as he speculated that some people are out to kill him.
Speaking to his followers on Instagram live, the rapper showed that the vest he was wearing was the “real deal” as he puffed on his cigarette.
“Moving like a secret agent now,” he said as he tapped on the vest
“I got a bulletproof on; ni***s wanna kill me,” he said.
“It’s the real thing.
“Ni***s said they gonna do me like DJ Sumbody. Gotta keep the vest on,” he added.

Emtee’s fears for his life seem to emanate from the death of DJ Sumbody who died while traveling on Woodmead road in Johannesburg.
Unknown gunmen sprayed his vehicle with a hail of bullets, killing him and one of his bodyguards instantly.
Police in Gauteng said in a statement that they were searching for suspects and investigating circumstances that led to the shooting.
“Police received a complaint about a shooting incident at the corner of Woodmead Drive and Woodland Drive at approximately 00:30. Upon arrival at the scene, police found two people inside a VW Golf with gunshot wounds.
