Cape Town — South African rapper Nasty C had to deal with a raucous fan while performing in Zambia recently, as the rapper punched a fan who jumped on stage.
The rapper was embarking on his highly-anticipated African Throne Tour alongside fellow SA rapper Cassper Nyovest. The two have scheduled performances across many countries throughout the continent.

Their first show kicked off last week in Gaborone, Botswana before they headed to Lusaka in Zambia. It was during the Zambia show where things got heated.
While Nasty was rapping, an overly-enthusiastic fan jumped on stage and began dancing with the rapper. He didn’t take kindly to it and pushed the fan away before taking a punch, which knocked the fan down. Security escorted the fan away and the show stopped momentarily.

The incident has led to fans speculating what could have prompted this type of reaction from Nasty C. Some said the punch was an overreaction to the incident. Others said he was defending himself from a strange attack, with some speculations.
