Cape Town – South African musician Zakes Bantwini has released the much-anticipated visuals for his smash hit single Osama, featuring Kasango, and Mzansi can’t get over it.
The visuals have drawn many’s attention, as they showcase the beauty of South Africa.
The video starts with a monologue by SA’s legendary actor John Kani.

“Do not doubt yourself. Do not allow fear to enter your heart. Remember who you are. Remember where you come from,” says Kani in the video.
Bantwini then goes on a journey through the country where he ends up in the sea and eventually with his industry peers such as DJ Shimza, Sjava, DJ Sbu and Oskido.

Since its release on New Year’s eve, the video has received over 430 000 on YouTube and it has also earned itself a second spot on the platforms’ trending list.
Osama took Twitter by storm when Zakes shared a snippet of him playing it at a live-streamed Kunye series event with Thandi Draai & Darque last year.
South Africans instantly fell in love with it and gave it an anthem status.
Following that, it made history by retaining the number one spot for 10 weeks in a row on SA’s radio charts.
