Cape Town – South African actress, Zola Nombona, has inspired her fans and followers on social after announcing that she has become the brand ambassador for Foschini, saying “my dream has come full circle”.
The award-winning actress – best known for her role as Shado, a streetwise teenager, in the second season of the SABC 1 drama series Intersexions in 2013 – posted a video on Twitter that shows her going back to her home, her roots.
“Returning home, I am at a loss for words to describe my excitement. Going back to the comfort of family, returning to those beautiful family members,” she said in the video.
“A time to relax and reset, where little moments become big memories,” she added.
In the caption of the video, Zola expressed her delight at her dreams becoming reality.
“My dream has come full circle. From the little girl in Matatiele with a big dream to watching it come true,” her caption read.

“I am proud to announce that I am the #Foschini brand ambassador! I’m honored to carry the heritage of a brand that I love,” the 6 X SAFTA Nominee added.
Foschini SA expressed its excitement at having Zola as a brand ambassador.
“We’re excited to introduce the official Foschini ambassador, award-winning actress & 6 X SAFTA nominee, Zola Nombona. This year we celebrate an African festive season. A return home. A time to rest, reflect and enjoy the true sense of family & community. We celebrate Buyel’ekhaya,” it said in a post on Instagram.
