Cape Town – South African comedian and The Daily Show show host Trevor Noah has promised “more dates in Africa” for his 2023 stand-up world tour.
The comedian was asked by a member of the audience where would he want to travel for vacation or perform, in a Between the Scene clip posted on Twitter by The Daily Show.
Trevor, who announced his exit from The Daily Show in September, responded saying when he travels, “it’s like a work vacation”.
“I would always enjoy the vacation, and then my stand-up was like a book report for what I experienced”.
He also revealed that he will be travelling to many new places during his upcoming world tour which will start in the US in January.

He will also travel to Europe, Asia, Australia and the rest of Africa.
“Asia, Australia and then more dates in Africa, which is going to be exciting. I’ve never been to certain parts of Africa that I’ve always wanted to go to,” he said.
Some of the places the comedian wants to visit include Vietnam, the Philippines, and India.
Trevor will depart from The Daily Show on December 08.
The American cable channel said it will fete Noah’s seven-year run with a look back at his greatest moments, leading up to his last day on the show.
Chris McCarthy, President & CEO, Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios, paid tribute to Noah, highlighting the impact the South African had on the show.
“Trevor is an incredible talent who has left an indelible mark on The Daily Show and we’re grateful for his creative partnership over the past seven years,” McCarthy said.
