Cape Town – Metro FM has reportedly dismissed radio presenter, Mpho Madise, popularly known as Mo G, who hosted the talk and music show, Let’s Talk About It, at the station.
This was after his contract was reportedly terminated due to a “material breach of contract”.
“The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has parted ways with Mr Mpho Madise, also known as Mo G. This follows the termination of his contract due to material breach of contract” Channel24 quoted the station’s statement.
The public broadcaster business manager, Kina Nhlengethwa said the station will soon announce who will take over Mo G’s slot on the show, the report said.

“A big thank you to the team that has held the fort during this period,” the report quoted Nhlengethwa as saying.
Earlier this month, a video of Madise being manhandled by an unidentified man circulated on social media, reported IOL.
The report said that this was after Madise was allegedly found at a popular Soweto joint after he failed to return the BMW X3 Jabu Brown had borrowed him.
Since the news of his dismissal, tweeps are wondering if the viral video contributed to the end of Madise’s career, the report said.
