Cape Town – Former South African football legend Lucas Radebe celebrated his 54th birthday in style as he was captured dancing amapiano style.
Lucas showed his adoring fans that he’s got more than just fancy footwork with a football at his feet as he showed off his rhythm. In a video that was posted to Instagram, Radebe is seen having a good time, dancing next to a pool with some amapiano music playing in the background.
Elsewhere, his daughter posted a picture of herself and Lucas posing for a photo together.
She wrote a cute birthday message to her dad.
“Happy birthday to my Hero, My protector and my biggest inspiration. l, love you, Dad.

He retired from playing in 2005 and now works as a pundit covering Premier League matches on Supersport. He recently made a return to the football pitch, where he returned to Kaizer Chiefs to play in an exhibition match.
“This is where I started as a professional player. It’s great to come back and see how far the Club has come as well. The progress made since my playing days has been unbelievable. It brought back such great memories and it was so good to play with different generations of Chiefs players, and it was great to be around them, to be able to sit and chat and have some banter in the dressing room. It makes you appreciate where you come from,” The South African quoted him as saying.
