Cape Town – Mothers are queens, and South African DJ Shimza took to social media to wish his queen a happy birthday, uploading a cute video paying tribute to her.
Shimza, whose real name is Ashley Raphala, is one of South Africa’s brightest talents. He made the transition from aspirant industry young blood to one of the leading lights of the global afro house scene at a swift speed.
The award-winning DJ and producer compiled a video of moments with his mother over time and uploaded it to Instagram.
“Honour your mom while you still have a chance ndoda,” read one of the comments and it looks as though Shimza is planning on doing just that.
“Happy birthday to my Mother ?♥️ Love you sooooo much ♥️ ? ?,” he captioned the post.
