Cape Town – South African chef, media personality, and former ballet dancer Lorna Maseko was rubbing her shoulders with one the most iconic Americans, a retired politician, who served as the 42nd president of the United States from 1993 to 2001, Bill Clinton, during her time in New York.
Lorna attended an event hosted by the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). The CGI brings together established and emerging global leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
CGI works with partners to develop Commitments to Action — new, specific, and measurable actions in climate resilience, health equity, and inclusive economic recovery and growth.
Lorna said it was an honour to attend the event.
