Cape Town – Former Idols SA winner and singer Khaya Mthethwa has slammed social media comments after Twitter users made fun of his moans in a video he shared of him and his son enjoying some time together.
In the video, Khaya and his son are seen jumping on a trampoline at a bounce park. Khaya is filming himself while jumping next to his son.
He is heard saying “ah ha, ah ha, ah ha”, as he jumps.
The video has garnered over two million views, but has stirred some controversy from Khaya’s followers, with some saying it sounds like he was moaning and that it sounded “inappropriate”.
Some even suggested that he was making bedroom noises in front of his son.

Mthethwa picked up on some of the feedback and responded, saying it was awful for people to “sexualise” a video with his son.
“Can’t believe you guys can twist and sexualise a vid with my son!! Highly disturbing behaviour!” he said.

Unfortunately, that’s how our society is. This is why we have the problems we have here at home.
