Cape Town – Sisters Kelly Khumalo and Zandie Khumalo-Gumede have clearly buried their sibling feud, as they have, in recent days, presented a united front on numerous occasions.
The two were together at Zandie’s son’s christening ceremony on Sunday.
On her Instagram timeline on Sunday, Zandie shared pictures of herself and her sister with her son, Zenala.
Kelly revealed recently that she and her sister were working on their strained relationship and things were looking up. She said this during an interview on Kaya 959 with host Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka.

“We are good. We are very good actually. I think we needed that bit of a break. You know, when you are so close to another to a point where you lose self-identity, which is a dangerous thing for an individual … so I now feel like we needed that. She had to find her outside me, and I had to find me outside her,” the singer said.
She also acknowledged how their sibling rivalry had made things awkward for their friends and family.
“I took it very personally … I called a meeting with all my friends and said, ‘Listen, you guys have to decide, and it’s OK if you chose to be part of my sister’s corner … I won’t take offence, but at least I’ll know where you stand, so you must decide,” said Kelly.
In June, Zandile vowed to support her sister when advocate Malesela Teffo alleged that an eyewitness was set to testify that Kelly had shot Senzo by mistake.
Since then, she has slowly started talking and sharing pictures of her sister on social media.
Recently, she took to her Instagram page and shared a picture of them in white, reflecting on their journey as upcoming singers.
