Cape Town – Young budding actress, Greteli Fincham married the love of her life, Juan De Swardt, who is a videographer – in an intimate small private ceremony over the past weekend.
The event was only attended by those closest to their hearts and it took place at Juan’s picturesque backyard garden in Stellenbosch – where he grew up.
Making the wedding even more sentimental with a personal touch, Greteli married her groom in her mother’s wedding dress.
Greteli said that when she and Juan decided on the date for their nuptials, they came to the realisation that there would never have been enough time to get a wedding dress made.
“So it was perfect that I still have my mother’s dress,” The Citizen quoted her as saying.
An intimate short video clip that Juan shared on Instagram, shows the couple donning smiles in their white wedding attire, slow dancing under an umbrella against the backdrop of a gentle rain surrounded by lush green nature.
“Joy in simplicity,” he captioned the video.
