Cape Town – Award-winning artist Donald Moatshe is set to open a case of theft after someone broke into his car and stole his trademark red mic.
Donald took to Instagram on Monday to break the news to his social media followers that his mic had allegedly been stolen after someone broke into his car and stole the case that contained it.
He said that he was willing to offer a reward to anyone who might come forward with information that might lead to tracking down the mic.
“I’ve got some bad news,” said Donald.

“Someone broke into my car and took the case that had my red mic, so my microphone has been stolen. I don’t know what they going to do with it because you can’t really sell that microphone. I just wanted to ask for your help.
Donald said that anyone with information should send him a direct message.
“If anyone has any sort of information please send me a DM (direct message) and give me all that information. Whoever can help, I’m going to organise a reward for anyone who comes up with any sort of information that could help us. I am opening a case of theft,” he said.

Donald released his latest music album last year titled Dreams, which taps into the new sound of the Amapiano genre.
He features international artist and actor, Jussie Smollet in the title track of the album.
“Jussie is on a song that actually puts the whole story together, which is the title track of the album. And while people find my music and everything that I do as entertainment, and sometimes even find jokes within it, but for me, it’s the real world,” IOL quoted him as saying.
