Cape Town – South African radio and television personality, Jeremy Mansfield, made an appearance on the Facebook account of his former colleague and friend, Samantha Cowen, to show gratitude to supporters for their kindness.
Jeremy announced his liver cancer diagnosis earlier this year, saying that he had reached stage 4.
“Jeremy wanted to say thank you to all of you for your kindness and messages. Today is a better day for him than it has been for a very long time. Thank you to all of you,” Cowen captioned the post.
Jeremy also gave an update about his condition.
“It’s up and down. Today’s one of those up days, thank goodness,” he said.
He then said that he wants to have a zoom session to chat with people who sent their messages and wanted to speak to the former radio presenter.

Cowen said that next week when Jeremy has a good day, they will have an online zoom or a Facebook live. However, she said she cannot give an exact time and day, just an hour’s notice or so.
“We’re going to pick a day next week when Jim’s having an up day. I cannot tell you when it’s going to be; nor can he, but I know a lot of people have wanted to see him and speak to him,” she said.
