Cape Town – DJ Shimza, born Ashley Raphala, is a highly acclaimed DJ in South Africa with a successful career spanning many years.
Beyond his DJing prowess, he has ventured into various businesses, including a trucking company named Lekganyo, a marketing agency reportedly called Just Exist, and a renowned restaurant called The Hang Awt 1632 along with a car wash named Hang Awt Car Wash, The South African reports.

Additionally, he owns a record label called Kunye, established in 2020 to promote international talent.
Shimza’s influence extends to lucrative endorsements and advertisements, and he has headlined shows globally, particularly in Europe where he enjoys significant popularity, the report says.

Despite rumours suggesting a net worth exceeding R1 billion, Shimza clarified that his actual net worth is lower, though he remains one of the highest-paid DJs in South Africa, with DJ Black Coffee often cited as the richest in the country and Africa, says the report.
