According to TshisaLIVE, renowned media personality and twin sister of Innocent, Millicent Mashile, has spoken out following the devastating fire that claimed the Sadiki household.
She revealed that the the cause of the fire remains a mystery but expressed gratitude that Innocent’s husband, their nanny and children managed to escape unharmed.
“There were no injuries. The kids were in the house with their father and nanny but there were no injuries. The kids started screaming because they saw smoke, which alerted their father and nanny to check. By the time we got there, everything was gone. Nothing was saved. The house was around R3m and the things inside were about R2m because as content creators we have a lot of expensive equipment. Roughly R5m was lost. They had literally just finished doing renovations in the kitchen and bought appliances. They did a lot of work on the house. It was starting to feel like a home and then this happened,” the report quoted her as saying.
Millicent also took to her timeline, sharing clips depicting the aftermath of the blaze.
“There was a forth man in the fire. We thank God for life, our kids are fine, my sister and her husband are fine by his grace. Kulingile Baba even in the storm 🙏🏽 Let’s Help the Sadiki family, in anyway possible! Also let’s continue to Pray for them.” read the caption.
