Cape Town – American professional tennis player Sloane Stephens, took to social media recently to share with her followers that she has arrived in South Africa and said in a later post, “I love it here”.
Sloane announced on Instagram that she had arrived in Mzansi, showing an eagerness to learn and explore.
“South Africa, we made it,” she said in the caption of the video she uploaded.
“I can’t wait to spend the next couple of days exploring, learning and, of course, playing a little bit of tennis here,” she added.

The tennis players received a warm welcome from South Africans.
“Ah you’re in my home country! Have the most fabulous time, it’s amazing for tourists,” wrote @chloe_longman
“A warm welcome to you guys to sunny☀️ South Africa,” commented @nthombs.
“Welcome to South Africa ??, hope you can have a quick tour down to Cape Town, the most beautiful city,” wrote another Instagram user.
Thus far, Sloane has visited the Kruger National Park to spend some time at a game reserve, exploring and learning as she intended to.
“Call me Ranger Sloane? Three days of adventure with @londolozi …not a single complaint! I love it here,” she said on Instagram.

Sloane achieved a career-best ranking of world No. 3 after Wimbledon in 2018. Stephens was the 2017 US Open champion and has won seven WTA Tour singles titles in total.
