Cape Town – Media personality Anele Mdoda has garnered praise on social media after emphasising her commitment to ensuring the well-being of her team.

During an interview on The Sias du Plessis Show, Anele revealed that she prioritises the financial happiness of her team members before signing contracts.

She believes that contentment is essential for happiness and performance.

While she is recognised for her on-screen presence, she also values the happiness of her staff behind the scenes.

“I just want people to be content … You cannot be happy if you are not content, so my basic salary is contentment for you. That’s what I am going to get right, then you out of your performance, and clients and listeners liking you can bring you happiness,” said Anele.

When she launched her second show under her production company, Rose And Oaks, she highlighted the importance of ensuring the happiness of her staff, drawing from her mother’s unhappy work experience.

“My mom was unhappy at work for 20 years I watched this woman hate her job so I’ve always said there will never be anyone who is unhappy to go to work … These people are heads of households, mothers, brothers, and sisters, they can’t be half human because they are working in an industrial place.”

Mdoda expressed her desire to expand her career and company, envisioning studios and a reputation for excellence.
