Cape Town – Rapper Cassper Nyovest and musician NaakMusiq held a press conference this week ahead of their friendly boxing match on April 9 at the Sun City Superbowl in the North West.
According to Channel24, the two gave snippets of how they have been training and what the live audience can expect from this big fight.
NaakMusiq revealed that he chose not to post his preparations for the fight on social media as a strategy.

“We decided to go with the strategy of not posting anything. Cass was comfortable. He knows what he is doing and has been doing it for quite some time. So we figured that I’m sure there are one or two videos that came out of me having started boxing, and those were quite the joke. Which we thought was a brilliant thing. Let us work behind the scenes, create a monster and reveal it on the night of the fight,” the report quoted NaakMusiq as saying.
Meanwhile, Cassper expressed his confidence that he will definitely win the fight as he had friends such as Ashley Cain and Seth Gyimah who he didn’t want to disappoint, according to Drum.

“I have a point to prove. I don’t want to disappoint my boxer friends from across the world, the likes of Ashley Cain and Seth Gyimah to name a few. They are expecting a win. I hope they’ve been putting in work because I’m on fire. If they did not train, then it’s definitely going to show. I have to ‘naak him out.’ I even shared a little prayer that I don’t hurt him too much,” said Cassper as quoted by the report.
