Cape Town – South African DJ and businesswoman Zinhle Jiyane, best known as Dr Zinhle’s busy schedule has her feeling like she is robbing her kids of time with her.
Between being a mother of two and being a wife, DJ Zinhle has a number of businesses that keep her on her toes besides.
The reality TV star has an alcoholic beverage called Boulevard, a hair company called Hair Majesty and an accessory company called Era.
And yes, she is also a DJ.
Just last month, the DJ was dealing with bad PR for Hair Majesty after she received backlash on social media following bad reviews from clients.
Clients were complaining about bad service, including a delivery mix-up.
The star recently broke down in front of her manager Thabiet Mardien during the recent episode of her reality TV show, The Unexpected on BET.
The two were discussing the DJ’s hectic schedule between traveling and business gigs before she spoke to her daughter Kairo who was crying over the phone missing her mommy.
“I feel so bad that I can’t be there for my child, because I don’t want her to feel like I’m not there for her, like that makes me feel really bad. It’s been a crazy few weeks. I don’t know what’s happening after this weekend, but I need time with my kids.
“I’m just feeling a little overwhelmed and I feel like we haven’t stopped and I know that I’m doing this for the kids, but I’m starting to feel like I’m robbing them of time with their mother.”
Mardien consoled her with a hug, and kept assuring the DJ that Kairo would be fine before promising they would have some “time out”.
