Cape Town – South African television presenter Angie Diale’s husband, Kgomotso Diale, paid his last respect to his late wife in an emotional recorded message played during her funeral this week.
Mam’ Angie, as she was affectionately known, died at the age of 55 on Thursday, December 23, at Leratong Hospital after succumbing to pneumonia.
According to Times Live, family spokesperson Lilian Mofokeng said Angie fell ill in a short space of time – a period of two weeks where they thought she was unwell because of the weather pattern.
Her funeral service was held at Grace Bible Church in Soweto on Wednesday, December 29.

Angie’s friends, family and colleagues gathered to bid their farewell.
Many remembered her as a good listener who dedicated her life to helping others.
In particular, her husband remembered and described her as a God-fearing woman.
“Laatie, when you were going I did not realise that you were going, I only realise now that you were going when I’m looking at the puzzles for the past two months. You were behaving really strange that I could not even figure out that you were preparing me until when on Monday you called us; myself, the children and your mother and you started to say to us. The 15 years you have asked before God have come to an end, in other words, that 15 years has expired … still I did not hear what you were saying, yes, I heard what you said I could not understand what you were saying.”

“My laatie I’m going to miss you so much, I’m going to miss the smile, Im going to miss those lips tender as they were, Im going to miss on how you chew even the tasteless food, tasteless fruits. you chew them so beautifully as if they tasted too nice. Im going to miss you my laatie.”
“Laatie, I know where you are, you are in the safe hands of God because you have taught us the principles, the values that we have to believe in God no matter what situation we encounter. I know where you are, you’ve met your best friend, your so Lesego and you’re looking upon us. I’m so so proud my laatie that you have left a legacy… that need us to take it over, to make you proud wherever you are…” said Diale.
