Cape Town – South African musician, Makhadzi, took to her Instagram to let followers know that she may have something hot dropping soon, potentially collaborating with another iconic South African musician, Papa Penny.
Papa Penny’s breakthrough in music came with the recording and release of his 1994 debut album Shaka Bundu, which was recorded in a week using little gear but went on to sell 250,000 copies in the country.
Now the veteran artist looks as though he might be collaborating with Makhadzi for a potential festive hit.
The two can be seen jamming in the studio on Makhadzi’s Instagram post.
“I brought Papa Penny back in studio to remake his Milandu The hit wich ruled one of the festives back in 90s …it’s going down,” Makhadzi captioned the post on her Instagram page.
