Cape Town – Limpopo-born rapper Shebeshxt, also known as Lehlogonolo Chauke, recently sparked concern among fans by claiming on Instagram that hitmen were hired to assassinate him.
“They hired people to kill me. Pray for me,” he wrote.
This came as videos from “prophets” and sangomas allegedly warned him about threats to his life, with one sangoma describing a vision of a woman putting muti (traditional medicine) in his food at a gig in Vaal.
