Cape Town – Fans of South African media personality and actress Pearl Thusi are speculating about her friendship with DJ Zinhle.
They were responding to Thusi’s TikTok video on the right time to call it quits on a friendship.
Thusi addresses the question, “What made you realise, ‘This person isn’t really my friend?'”
“I realised when, one, I was friends with someone for a very long time, loved them like they loved me. I believe we loved each other. I think we had outgrown each other and I didn’t get back to her for a while over something that had happened, long enough for anyone to get upset, right? But… when I came back and said sorry, this was my situation, this person punished me. Mayb they were done with my bullsh*t excuses, if that’s what they thought it was,” Thusi said.

She then revealed that another friendship of hers had ended abruptly when the other person stopped talking to her. She said she didn’t mind that, but was upset that the friend allowed her to keep texting them and reaching out to them. Thusi said she would have preferred the friend in question to tell her that they were done instead of ignoring her.
The fact that Thusi and DJ Zinhle no longer appear to be close friends led to the speculation that Thusi was referring to DJ Zinhle in the video. The comments section was filled with questions and comments about DJ Zinhle

Hadassah Austin said: “If you’re talking about Zinhle, she’s giving her daughter 20000% attention and maybe just maybe she doesn’t have time to text back the lil one was sick.”
