Cape Town – Close friends and family gathered at the Naturena Primary School in Soweto, Johannesburg, on Thursday for a memorial service to mourn and celebrate the life of actor Siyanda Sesimani, who died last week on Friday.
Siyanda succumbed to his head injuries following an alleged burglary at his home in Soweto.
His alleged perpetrators are still at large.

According to Times Live, a close friend of Siyanda and his family spokesperson Zola Hashatsi said that he will take it upon himself to open a case of murder for the alleged perpetrators.
“A case will be opened. The post-mortem has to take place tomorrow, but a case will be opened. I will open it myself. He was literally attacked. This was a murder. We will fight and we will find them,” the report quoted Zola as saying,” the report quoted him as saying.
Zola seems to have taken a knock of the passing of his close friend as he has been sharing images of the late actor on his social media platforms.
He took to Instagram recently to wish him a birthday dedication in what would have been his 32nd birthday.
“Happy Heavenly 32 Birthday Mngani. We should be planning your birthday braai, instead we are planning your memorial service and funeral. Life is something else. It’s gonna be a tough week. You remain missed and loved buddy. But we will be there for the family Tshomam,” wrote Zola.
