Cape Town – Former Miss South Africa Cindy Nell-Roberts has revealed some of her weight loss-tips, saying that it is a lot more than just “intermittent fasting”.
The former supermodel now works as a businesswoman and CEO, as well as the director of a non-profit organisation called Women4Women, which focuses on female empowerment, community upliftment, and youth education, according to The Citizen.
Nell-Roberts said that many women have reached out to her to ask why they have been struggling to lose weight and why intermittent fasting has not been working for them.
Many assume that fasting is the answer and Nell-Roberts has now debunked the myth.
She took to Instagram where she posted a timelapse video of herself having some fun on an eliptical bike.
“Ladies …. All the messages I’m Getting saying “I’m not losing weight” … but I fast … but I don’t get around to exercise… my darling darling friends. YOU WILL NOT lose weight sitting on the couch. Zero! I exercise every week day or close as possible too it. Write down what is most important to you, and if being healthy is not in the top 3 then ok. Netflix and chill babe. And don’t be hard on yourself ? if it is… then move – make the time. Cancel what is on the list at nr 5-10. It took me almost two years. And consistency. And weight loss is just a bonus. Health and wellness is the main goal. And BTW exercise is so much fun ! #findyourselfagain #fewkgtoshakeafterholiday #letsgo #bodypositivity ( I do a 30 min GCN HIT training workout on YouTube some days on spinning bike or treadmill, mostly bike then also weights on alternating days, and recently more yoga, weights for me is key but combined with cardio),” she said in the caption.
