Cape Town – Former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie has taken to social media to ask men to stop asking her out, especially while she is at the gym.
The model is off the market and is happily married to Musa Mthombeni.
In a video she posted to her TikTok account, she says she is sick and tired of men thinking they can just speak to her whenever they felt like it, thinking they can compliment her or interrupt her gym sessions. The caption reads: “Please explain this to me”
“I want to find out, what is it about me that says ‘come interrupt my gym session’? As a man, as a old man, a young man, any man? What about me says ‘come interrupt my gym session’ to tell me I look good, to tell me that I’m doing well, to ask me if you can buy me breakfast or lunch after? This T-shirt says TLC, it doesn’t say ‘come bother me’. I know I look good, I’m coming to gym to look good. Please leave me alone. Specifically men. MEN!” she said.
