Cape Town – Senegalese-born influencer Khaby Lame, who has 149.7 million followers on TikTok has reportedly revealed that he earns a massive $750 000 (R13 260 375 00) per video on the platform, making him the highest paid TikToker.
The Italy-based influencer is known for his iconic expressions in which he reacts to videos of people “caught” in various predicaments.
According to kaya595, the millions of views he gets per video on the platform are not the only route he makes money off the app – the influencer also receives endorsement deals and sponsorship.
Both money made through views on his content and endorsement deals easily puts him on the list of one of the most lucrative personalities on TikTok currently, the publication said.

Khaby likes on the app didn’t always make these huge earnings. He was once a factory worker.
He shot to fame in March 2020 after being retrenched from his machine operator job at a factory in Turin, Italy, EWN reported.
The 22-year-old moved to Italy with his parents as a child.
Forbes reported that in the two-years after turning on to the platform, Lame has become the most followed TikToker after he took the title from Charli D’Amelio in June.
He has become the face of Web3, signing a deal with cryptocurrency exchange Binance and has partnerships links with soccer club PSG and fashion house Hugo Boss, the report said.
In 2021 the publication estimated that the top creator made $10 million ( R176 711 000 00).
