Cape Town – Comments by controversial YouTube vlogger Slik Talk about the death of musician Costa Titch have not gone down well with fans on Twitter.
“I don’t have confirmation but right now I can confirm that Costa Titch, white rapper who did amapiano and hip hop, has sadly passed away. Condolences to his family,” Slik Talk posted.

“If he died on stage that would be crazy and I hope it’s not what I think it is, that’s all I’m saying. If he passed away on stage, it could only be one thing. But I hope that’s not the case, I hope it’s something else, I hope it’s just an unfortunate situation,” he said.
Costa died on Saturday after collapsing while performing on stage in Johannesburg.
Slik Talk then addressed Costa’s music career and his talent, although he suggested he was not happy with the fact that Costa, a white rapper, was an amapiano artist.
“I didn’t like the whole ‘I’m white and I’m in the black culture and I dance and act like I’m black but I’m white’… I don’t like that but the guy was talented. I can’t deny his talent, he did his thing on stage and put effort into his videos, music and his choreography,” he said.
Fans made sure to let him know what they felt in the comments.
