Cape Town – Former Mister World South Africa 2019 and renowned South African media personality and actor, Dr. Fezile Mkhize, has achieved yet another remarkable milestone in his career by winning the prestigious Mister Supranational 2024 crown in Poland.
Following a two week journey in preparation for the pageant, Mkhize impressed judges through the preliminary evaluation, a catwalk in the SupraModel of the Year round, and his standout performance in the Mister Talent segment- catapulting him straight into the final showdown.
Anticipation had built up during the finale, as Mkhize stood shoulder to shoulder with Mr. Netherlands, Casey De Vries. When the announcement finally dropped however, Mkhize was declared the winner, clinching the role of brand ambassador of the Mister Supranational Organization for the next year.
A dedication to his late aunt
Over on Instagram, the freshly crowned champion has been sharing a celebratory streak, filling his feed with numerous posts highlighting his triumph.
Among them, a heartfelt moment stands out, where the newly crowned Mister Supranational 2024 expressed gratitude to his supporters and dedicated his victory to his late aunt, who passed away in December.
“It is absolutely insane to say I am Mister Supranational 2024, but I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support I’ve been getting from each and every one of you. It is a surreal experience. I really wanted to thank you – supporters – because you made this journey possible. Brick by brick, we laid the foundation and now, here we stand.” he shared.
“Most importantly I want to make this tribute to my aunt, Thulisile, who passed away in December. I just wanted to honour her at this moment. South Africa, Africa, we did it. Thank you,” Mkhize concluded.
