Cape Town – Following the passing of her husband, Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo has managed to unlock his phone to go through his conversations after hinting that she felt he had been cheating on her.
The artist took to Mampintsha’s Facebook account to upload a video of her going through the phone after managing to surpass the security that locked it.
“I have finally found my baby’s pin code. Thank you baby!
“Shame, my husband loved me until the very end. I am still busy looking over your conversations. Don’t worry, I won’t be mad at anyone,” she said in the video.

A while later, she posted a picture of herself and her late husband on his Facebook stories.
Social media users were quick to express their concern for the recently widowed musician, advising her to focus on her healing.
“I think better focus on healing cause in all honest what you are doing is damaging yourself more, an uzihlekisa ngalezo ntombi ozibonayo. He’s not around to answer for himself anymore, u can’t fight lezo ntombi either. Just flush the phone and focus on the kid and your healing. This will depress you more. Think for that soul that needs you,” wrote Kennie Thokozani Kunene.
“And this is not the right way of mourning a person you claim to love no matter what. Look you are busy giving the media and people things to talk about,” he added.
“I actually thought she’s talking about the videos that are trending about her dance at the funeral, that’s why the laughing and no holding grudges… in actual fact it’s about her late husband’s phone and women. True rather focus on the healing process but you know it’s just human to do what she’s doing in order to also heal,” wrote another user in reply to the comment.
