Cape Town – South African DJ and businesswoman Zinhle Jiyane recently received backlash on social media after a customer gave a bad review on TikTok about a wig she purchased from Hair Majesty by DJ Zinhle.
In the video shared by celebrity gossip Musa Khawula, the customer claims that the weave was only delivered to her after she complained via customer service.
“Making matters worse my order was sent to the Nothern Cape. I live in Gauteng. I eventually received my order on Friday. I’m sure they used a fly-by-night courier service,” said the customer.

Upon seeing the video, Zinhle took to her Twitter timeline and said that she contacted the customer and is dealing with the matter.
“This must be the first time in history that a business receives a bad review… just so you know, I have contacted the customer and we are dealing with it. Further than that I cant help you guys,” wrote Zinhle in a tweet.

Tweeps reacted, with some saying that the customer could have used proper channels to lay a complaint.
Some, however, said that Zinhle’s response showed arrogance.
Take a look at some of the Twitter reactions below:

After this y’all are gonna be told that you are not rich, therefore you shouldn’t have any say on anything. Happens all the time ??.

Hai Zinhle, sit down and humble yourself! The least you could have done was apologize, give the customer the quality she deserved and moved on… This arrogance is disgusting for black excellence I must say. NB: QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

I dont think she’s arrogant. You guys just hate facts, not all customers will have the same experience about a product. That is a fact.
