Cape Town – Outspoken media personality Dineo Ranaka has taken to Instagram to share her sentiments after Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars.
The much-publicised drama began when Chris made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, on stage – for her bald hairstyle.
In a video clip she shared, Dineo can be seen draped in a white sheet in her bed, as she drops her pearls of wisdom to her followers.

“In life there are Chris Rocks and Will Smiths, I am Will Smith. People say be graceful, be the bigger person, be kind and yes be careful of the devil because at your highest moment that’s when he comes for you.
“You guys are high in your moments when you are disrespectful. You are very disrespectful in your high moments, so even me in my high moment I’m going to handle the disrespect. I’m not Mary Magdalene, I’m not Jesus Christ ngizo nithuka( I’ll swear), ngizo ni shaya(I’ll hit you), you know why I’m not going to be depressed because I’m suppressing feelings that are supposed to be a response to your disrespect,” she said candidly.

Dineo is often known as one not to bite her tongue when it comes to addressing the big elephant in the room.
Many of her celebrity friends took to the comment section to vindicate Dineo for her stance, including Duma Ntando, DJ Happygal Ndlovu and Ms Comso, amongst others.
According to Variety, Jada disclosed her diagnosis to the public, last year, that she shaved her head after struggling with alopecia – which is hairloss from the head or the body.
