Cape Town — South African rapper Leslie Mampe, better known by his stage name DA L.E.S, is currently undergoing physiotherapy after he suffered a stroke lat year.
The rapper suffered a stroke on his birthday in July last year and the rapper received urgent medical care. In November last year, his family gave an update on his health status and said he was dedicated and committed to making a full recovery.
“DA L.E.S is currently in recovery after suffering a stroke. He is receiving rehabilitation and is taking things slowly with the support of his loving family,” the statement said.

The rapper has continued his rehabilitation and in a clip shared to TikTok by the Stroke Rehab Company showed a physiotherapist helping DA L.E.S during his latest session.
While he received a hand massage, he looked in good spirits as he shared a laugh with his physiotherapist.
