Cape Town – Connie Ferguson, who acts as Harriet Khoza on Mzansi Magic telenova “The Queen”, is back on set following her husband Shona Ferguson’s death in July.
Connie took to Instagram to thank the Ferguson Films team, who apparently filled her room with balloons, flowers and gifts, as a way of welcoming her back.

“Team #thequeen #fergusonfilms. I love you all so much! Thank you for today. It’s good to do what you love knowing it’s for a purpose bigger than yourself. I’m grateful that we continue to walk this journey together, and all our wins and victories are to the glory of the almighty God. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Connie wrote on her Instagram account.

According to The Citizen, director of the show Wandile Magadla, said things were going to be okay following Connie’s come back.
“The minute you walked onto set, we all knew that we gonna be alright. Welcome back diMazo @connie_ferguson,” the report quoted Magadla as saying.
Shona, 47, died at Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg on July 30, due to Covid-19 related complications.
He was laid to rest on August 4 at the Fourways Cemetery in a private family funeral.
