Cape Town – South African comedian Mpho “Mpho Popps” Modikoane recently wished his mother a happy birthday with the help of Micasa vocalist Joao da Fonseca, better known as J’Something.
Mpho took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a video in which he misled his fans into thinking he was the one singing the song to his mother.
He only revealed at the end of the video that J’Something was in fact the vocalist.
“Of all the birthday messages, this is my moms absolute favourite… I’ve been trying to top it but I just can’t it’s her favourite human, thanks a lot @jsomethingmusic. Anyway happy birthday to my queen,” wrote Mpho in an Instagram post.
