Cape Town – Rapper Cassper Nyovest and controversial Youtuber Slik Talk have made headlines following their “Celebrity Boxing” match, Fame vs Clout, on Wednesday.
A while back, Cassper announced that a “big fight” was coming soon.
However, According to Times Live, he had been struggling to find a competitor since fierce rival AKA pulled out of the fight and Prince Kaybee turned down the chance to replace him.
On his social media accounts, the rapper posted snaps of his boxing training sessions.
He later revealed that his opponent would be the divisive YouTuber Slik Talk.
Mzansi eagerly awaited the fight.
Finally, on Wednesday night, the fight took place at the square ring at Emperor’s Palace.

It was streamed live on YouTube, with a large number of South Africans tuning in.
Prize money of R100 000 was on the line.
The fight quickly turned out to be a one-sided event as Cassper unleashed a series of brutal combinations on Slik who stumbled around to find his bearing as he took a few solid blows on the face and head from the “Phuma Kimi” hitmaker.
Cassper was declared the winner of the friendly boxing match.
He is now looking forward to another friendly boxing match between him and musician Anga Makubalo, popularly known as Naak Musiq.
The fight is set to take place next year on April 8.
“…Everybody says Naak Musiq is gonna give me a tough time, I’m telling you right now you now, April 8th I’m knocking his f***** head off,” said Cassper in part, in a video.
