Cape Town — Thobeka Majozi, the baby mama of South African rapper Cassper Nyovest, celebrated her birthday recently when she dropped a bombshell that Cassper cheated on her.
Thobeka took to Instagram and wrote a long message as she celebrated a “different birthday celebration” this year. In the message, she wrote about the hardships she had to endure in the past few years, namely her son’s battle with cancer and the fact that her former partner and her son’s father, Cassper, cheated on her during this time.
“This birthday hits different. The last few years have been something & looking back now, I’m filled with gratitude. Who would’ve thought I’d be here? Not in pieces but in peace. The tears that were once in silence are now from laughing out loud. I’m actually in awe of the goodness of God.”
“How am I so deserving of this unconditional love? His covering & grace? Even when I was unfaithful to Him. He remained faithful to me,” she said.

She revealed that her son was diagnosed with cancer at eight months, and while dealing with that difficulty, Cassper cheated on her with his now-wife, Pulane Mojaki, who knew her and her son’s condition.
“I lived in an oncology hospital for 2 years with my son as he underwent chemotherapy & life-threatening surgeries in the depths of fighting cancer. I was hit with a curve ball of infidelity. The woman knew me, my son’s condition & made no mistake flaunting their relationship.”
“After finding out, he ended it with her & tried to make amends with me. I couldn’t trust someone who could hurt me at my lowest or allow another woman to disrespect his woman. Considering everything we had been through, it was more about the timing than the infidelity. He later married her,” she continued.
She added that new projects, her son’s health and her family were what she needed to get through things and that God was able to restore her and put her where she is today. She also revealed that her son is now cancer-free.

In response to Thobeka’s claims, Cassper took to Instagram and shared his side of the story, where he admitted that what she said was true.
“Earlier this year, I went on a few podcasts to share the life I was living and the mistakes that I made, including the hurt caused to a lot of people, including my baby mama. I left out my son’s cancer because I agreed with her to not share that with the public, as I thought I was honouring her and my son, but maybe that came across as me trying to defend myself,” he said.
He said he was not proud of what he did but it was something that he could not take back. He grew from it and had to forgive himself for what he did.
“When you make bad decisions in life, these are the consequences. Not only do you hurt people, you don’t get to choose how they deal with the pain you caused them, so I understand the mother of my child coming out and sharing it the way she shared it,” he added.
He apologised to Thobeka and her family, and all people that he affected in this situation.
