Cape Town — South African music stars Boity Thulo and Emtee recently teased fans about a collaboration in the future and it seems they’ve made it happen sooner rather than later.
Boity made a return to music a few days ago after a video showed her rapping a freestyle over the hit song Sosh Plata, which started trending on social media. Emtee was impressed with what he heard from her and asked her for a feature, which she was more than willing to do.
She took to Twitter and posted a video of herself and Emtee working together in the studio.
The two, alongside Boity’s DJ, were in the process of editing or writing the song, as Boity took the candid video, teasing fans about what’s to come.

According to TimesLIVE, Boity revealed she was slowly making a return to music after taking a hiatus. She said the break was planned.
“It was intentional (the break) because even when I started doing music I didn’t do it with the intention of it being the one thing I’m gonna do for most people. It’s their thing. It’s like their bread and butter. For me, this is my thing and people love it but I entered it already being an entrepreneur and already being a multifaceted person. So I’m still treating it that way and that just works for me so I’m returning to it now.”
