Cape Town – Radio Personality, Anele Mdoda, has shared a video of her seven-year-old son, Alakhe, explaining his dream of becoming a Formula One Driver.
According to The Citizen, Alakhe was doing a “My occupation” presentation, where he dresssed up in Formula One gear and excitedly shared his enthusiasm with his classmates.

In the video, Alakhe is seen with a Ferrari driving suit on, but he quickly disappears out of shot to fetch an Alfa Romeo cap, the team for which his favourite driver, Valterri Bottas, drvies for.
“My favourite track is Miami and Australia. I like the Miami track because it has long straights and high speed corners [and] I like the Australia track because of qualifying,” he said during the presentation.
Alakhe was lucky enough to experience something even the biggest F1 fans never get to, as he was able to visit the Miami Grand Prix in May of this year.
He posted a picture to his own Instagram account where he posed with McLaren Formula One driver, Daniel Ricciardo, as well as a video where he was standing, with Trevor Noah, and speaking and laughing with Ricciardo.
